Organic Sundowner apples grown and picked in southern California. These apples have an extra crisp and extra tart flavor.

SunDowner is a newer variety of apples known for its sweet, juicy flavor and crisp texture. It was developed by the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada breeding program. SunDowner apples are medium to large in size and have a round shape with a bright red skin that is often blushed with yellow. They are considered a “mid to late season” apple and are typically available from mid to late autumn. They are a popular choice for eating fresh, as their sweet, juicy flavor and crisp texture make them ideal for snacking, salads, or as a topping for oatmeal or yogurt. They are also used in cooking and baking, adding a sweet, juicy flavor to recipes.
